Camp Good News

Founded by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas

Camp Dates Sunday, August 2nd through Saturday, August 8th, 2026

Camp Good News is a summer camp for children aged 10-15. Free to children of incarcerated parents. Camp Good News is a Christian camp coordinated by Houston reVision this year. It includes spiritual activities and the physical challenges of swimming, canoeing, archery, horseback riding, games, crafts, and more! Camp Good News is located at Camp Allen, in Navasota, Texas. There is no cost to the parent or caregiver, however, participation is limited to 60 children who are eligible for registration.

Youth ages 16–17 who have previously attended Camp Good News may apply to serve as Counselors in Training (CITs). Space in the CIT program is limited.
