The work of reVision
reVision works to break the cycle of isolation among the most profoundly disconnected youth, most of whom are caught up in the juvenile justice system.
By connecting one kid at a time to caring adults, positive peers and a program that works, we offer disconnected youth the opportunity to revision hopeful pathways.
Everyone is transformed in this work: kids, mentors, and communities. Learn more by clicking here.
FALL VIDEO CONFERENCE SERIES
What Are They Thinking | How to Make Sense of the Teen Brain
Part 1: September 18th | Part 2: October 16th
7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Anyone working with teens has been left scratching their heads about the choices they make. Adults who knew us as teens probably had the same reaction. Scientists say our brains are not fully “adult” until the age of 25. And external factors, such as traumatic experiences, impact its development.
In this 2-Part conference, Holly Hudley will help us make sense of the teen brain. Holly is an educator with a Masters in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard. She taught for 12 years in high school and middle school classrooms and now works with Iconoclast Artists to train teachers on social-emotional development. She is a mother of 3 and a reVision mentor.
